A. ALREADY REGISTERED ON THE PLATFORM LAST YEAR
If you already registered your child last year, all you have to do is register again and confirm your account details. Soon we will let you know if it is necessary to drop by our playground during the registration week. So be sure to keep an eye on our site and social media.
1. Register through our registration platform
If your child is coming to our playground for the first time next summer, or you don't have an account yet, the idea is to register first by creating an account. This can be done by following the link to the registration platform, where it is explained step by step.
2. Drop by during the registration week
Next, the idea is to drop by the playground during the registration week (during opening hours).
As mentioned above, registration must be done online at home beforehand. Did something go wrong or are things not clear? No problem at all! You are welcome during registration week and then we will help you further.
What do you bring?
This summer we will once again work with day registration. In other words, your child can come to our playground on any day. So there is always a place for every child.
This year we are working with the same registration system as last year. It will be possible to register your children online at home, so that the registration on our playground can proceed more smoothly. This platform is available via mijn.speelpleindonbosco.be.
That is possible again this summer! This year it is no longer necessary to reserve places for your child(ren) in advance. For questions you can contact the secretariat every playground day from 8:15 to 17:30 and every Sunday from 16:00 to 18:00.
For this registration you need to follow the same steps as mentioned above and bring the same supplies to the registration itself.
A daily fee of 5 euros is charged per child. From the third child onwards, however, there is no daily allowance to be paid. As playground operation, we want to financially accommodate families with 3 or more children visiting our playground. We therefore apply the rule that large families only have to pay for 2 children and that the other children can come to the playground for free. This allowance applies to the day attendance itself. When registering, we do expect to pay a one-time fee of 8 euros per child for insurance.
To benefit from this rule, we expect you to provide a family composition attestation when registering your child at the playground. Unfortunately, due to some cases of abuse, we are forced to check more strictly that it is a recent certificate issued by the civil registry of your municipality. Thank you for your understanding.
For the City of Leuven and its sub-municipalities, you can request this certificate electronically via the link below:
https://www.leuven.be/attest-gezinssamenstelling
More information on applying for this or other certificates can be found here:
https://www.leuven.be/akten-en-attesten
For other municipalities, you will need to stop by the civil registration office at the town hall.
The cost of caring for your child under 12 can be deducted from your taxable income. The tax certificate needed to deduct this expense from your taxes will be sent automatically to anyone who pays their bill on time after the summer. This certificate serves as proof of the amount you paid for your child's participation. Further information can be found on the website www.sociaalcultureel.be.
You can withdraw a subsidy through your health insurance fund. To do so, please send the necessary documents from your health insurance fund with a stamped addressed envelope to the playground or hand them in at the registration desk. As soon as all the bills have been paid, we will send you the completed papers.
