HEAD MONITORS

Our head monitors have proven to be excellent monitors and have an eye for all kinds of practical matters. They are there to pass on their knowledge to the monitors and to make sure the day of their group goes as smoothly as possible.  Each group (toddlers, cosis, maxis and teenagers) has at least two head monitors.  They have also followed a head monitor course. In total, our facility has 30 head monitors.

Four times a year a head monitor meeting is organized by the leaders of the child care centre.  We discuss all kinds of matters and think about the changes we want to make. A number of working groups are also set up to deal with specific child care matters throughout the year: planning special activities for the summer, organizing the DBOH quiz, finding sponsors, distributing flyers and posters, preparing ‘O-day’, writing plays and much more.
